only surviving photograph of me- a headshot taken after I was imprisoned
for unleashing thousands of termites upon the unwitting public ->
I was going to just have the brief about section on my homepage but I think it's time for a full page baby!! I'l' just try not to repeat myself too much here LOL. My name is Muse/Musical ("Musical" being a very old alias of mine having evolved into a formal lengthened form of my current name "Muse." Personally I use both interchangeably with basically no regard.) Like what's written on my homepage this site is being crafted by me as a decision to sort of "detatch" from mainstream social media. No need to go over why- if you are familiar enough with the internet to end up on this little Neocities site then you're already familiar with the shortcomings and downsides of such major social media sites.
I've never been paricularly attached to mainstream social media and in fact my track record has been very strange. My first formal introduction to internet communities at large were small video game related forums- and Miiverse, whenever that came to the 3DS. I'm in my early 20s so I am not familiar with the old web per se but due to my reserved tendencies I think I'm always more in my element in smaller and slower communiies. The only mainstream social media site I've been able to stick to even today is Tumblr but god, Tumblr kind of sucks a little sometimes doesn't it? LMAO
Anyway my name is Musical. I live in the PNW, I'm nonbinary and gay (personally, I consider myself a bara connoisseur), and my hobbies mostly consist of playing and collecting video games, drawing and writing very infrequently (as many of my friends and peers know I've been fighting a brutal artblock that's started sometime in early 2021 and has yet to fully erode ever since). My favorite video game genres include JRPGs, fast-paced combat-focused platformers, and musou (sometimes also referred to as Dynasty Warriors-like or Warriors game. Basically if a game has "warriors" in the title it's probably musou). Specifically regarding JRPGs, my earliest RPG experiences include Final Fantasy, Earthbound, Super Mario RPG, and Pokemon, so I'm most in my element with what was classically referred to as "RPGs" being turn-based JRPGs with primarily numbers-based progression. I've cooled incredibly on Pokemon ever since high school but those are the types of RPGs I like to play most. So when I refer to "RPGs" or "JRPGs" just know that it's probably some Final Fantasy bullshit or something LOL.
I consider myself a furry as well and it's probably an important part of my identity, idk I haven't given it a lot of thought. For years now my fursona species has firmly been locked in as African Lion, but I've never drawn them nor have I commissioned art of them. Maybe someday, I still don't know exactly what they look like.
